the animals in our area, including adoption, education, spay/neuter
programs, and investigation into animal cruelty.
Food Pantry
Who do we help?
Individuals in the community who have pets and are in need.
When and where will it be distributed?
Individuals in the community who are in need of assistance can stop by the
shelter during regular business hours to receive food for their pets.

**“The Food Pantry for Pets provides a limited amount of pet food for your
animal(s). Although the Food Pantry for Pets serves eligible clients without
discrimination, we may limit the number of times a household may receive
assistance. There is no guarantee that pantry assistance will be available at
any given time.”

Education
Our public education
programs are available to schools, youth and civic groups, promoting kindness to
all living creatures and providing instruction on the proper care and treatment
of animals. We offer tours for youth groups such as the Girls and Boy Scouts of
America. These programs, tailored to age appropriate levels and interests, are
conducted in classrooms, the CNYSPCA's Education Center, at the establishments
of local merchants and other locations throughout our community. To learn more,

Spay / Neuter Program
The CNYSPCA offers Friends of Animal Certificates that assist in the cost of
spay and neuter of your pet. These certificates are available during hours of
operation at the CNYSPCA. The cost for the certificates are:
Male cat:
$51.00 Male dog: $64.00
Female cat: $65.00 Female dog: $90.00
A list of veterinarians that
accept these certificates will be given to you when you when you purchase the
certificate. Please check with the veterinarian to find out if here are any
additional fees for office exams or shots your pet may require. Cash Only. No checks please.
